Madisonville Man Arrested for Allegedly Chasing Woman Down Street After Smoking ‘Crystal’

fairrowMADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/13/14) — Madisonville Police were dispatched to a Nisbet Street residence in reference to a disturbance Tuesday, Aug. 12.

According to the Madisonville Police report, the victim advised officers that James Autae Fairrow, 36, Madisonville, was chasing her down the street and acting crazy and that Fairrow needed medical assistance. She also told officers that Fairrow had been smoking something “illegal.”

When officers arrived at the residence, they observed Fairrow under the influence of methamphetamine. Fairrow was also observed twitching and making several erratic body movements, the report said.

Officers then made contact with the Medical Center Ambulance, in which Fairrow refused treatment for medical assistance.

The report said Fairrow told police that he had been smoking “crystal” and gave consent to search the residence. During the search, officers located a cigar package with plastic bags hanging out in the floor. Inside the package, officers found suspected crystal meth and synthetic marijuana.

Fairrow was charged with possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (meth) and possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperzines.

He is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
