MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/20/14) — Madisonville Police were dispatched to Princeton Road and South Seminary Street in regard to a reckless driver Tuesday, Aug. 19.
According to Madisonville Police report, a complaint call was made to central dispatch that the driver in front of them was weaving in and out of lane and speeding up and slowing down. Witnesses also told dispatch the driver almost cause a three car accident and almost hit a roadway worker.
An MPD officer located Rhonda Starlene Suttle, 32, Dawson Springs, and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, officers noticed that Suttle’s pupils were constricted and she was unable to sit still. Officers tried to administer a sobriety test, however, Suttle was unable to complete it.
Suttle advised officers that she had snorted meth earlier in the day, and had taken an assortment of prescription pills, the report said.
The report said Suttle was placed under arrest and taken to Baptist Health. While at the hospital, she was read implied consent and gave blood and urine. Suttle also was in possession of Gabapentin, which was her personal prescription, that was half emptied and had been filled on Aug. 15.Suttle was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
