gypsy-ladyGREENVILLE, Ky. (8/22/14) — Gypsy Lady is a vintage home decor business located at 4712 U.S. 62 West in Greenville.

Teresa Williams, the proprietor of Gypsy Lady, purchases items from private homes and markets. She only selects quality merchandise from which people can decorate their home. Gypsy Lady's inventory includes lamps, tables, decorative pillows, curtains, artwork and bedding.

"Gypsy Lady has been open since April of 2013,” said Williams. "It was my parents' home, and we lived next to each other for 40 years. I did not want to sell the home so I decided to start my own business. It's a pleasant atmosphere, I try to buy unique things that people will be interested in.”

The shop includes a flower garden, a pavilion and a fish pond with Koi fish that are popular with store guests. Williams is a certified master gardener through the University of Kentucky.

The Gypsy Lady also sells jewelry made by Teresa Cobb, said Williams. Teresa teaches acrylic painting on canvas and wood. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and by appointment.

Teresa is recently retired and her handmade jewelry is very popular.
