HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/11/13) –The Ideal Market at 800 E. Center Street in Madisonville sold a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket on March 6 that has yet to be claimed by anyone.
 
The KY Lottery corporate office in Louisville called the E. Center St. store to inform them that the tracking number for this particular winning ticket was sold from their store on Wednesday March 6 and advised that no one had claimed it yet. East Center Street Ideal Assistant Manager, William Thomas said that this is the third big winning ticket sold from that store location since December 2012, when a $10,000 Powerball ticket was sold and claimed, and then again in January 2013, someone purchased a winning Powerball ticket for $50,000.
 
The winner of this $250,000 ticket, if claimed, will ultimately receive funds totaling more than $100,000 even after taxes are taken out of it. Thomas said, “We want anyone who purchased a Mega Millions ticket here on that day, (Wed. March 6) to check their numbers because there’s a winner somewhere around here with that unclaimed money.”
 
If the ticket is the valid winner, the recipient is advised to go to the KY Lottery Office in Madisonville located at 114 Madison Square Drive, to present their ticket, where they will be directed to the Corporate Office location in Louisville to collect the money.
