MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/12/13) – On Tuesday, March 12, at approximately 7:27 AM, the Madisonville Police Department responded to a report of a three vehicle accident at the intersection of South Main Street and McLeod Lane.
According to Police officials, 71-year-old Ernest Boze of Madisonville was traveling southbound on South Main, preparing to turn onto McLeod. At the same time, Michael Gossett, 34, of Earlington, was traveling northbound on South Main, also approaching McLeod Lane. Boze vehicle was struck by Gossett’s, which in turn caused Boze to also collide with a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Bobby Rushing of Madisonville.
Witnesses stated that Boze failed to yield right of way to Gossett.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
