Niagra Elementary Principal Accepted into Leadership Institute for School Principals

onan 300HENDERSON, Ky. (5/3/13) – Paige O’Nan, principal at Niagara Elementary, has been accepted into the 2013-2014 Leadership Institute for School Principals class.

The Leadership Institute for School Principals offers public and private school principals in Kentucky an opportunity to receive powerful leadership training from the internationally acclaimed Center for Creative Leadership. The Institute is being provided by Kentucky’s business community through the Kentucky Chamber Foundation at no cost to participating principals.

The Leadership Institute for School Principals will deliver cutting edge training to help principals:
• build a high-performance culture and lead change;
• explore how knowledge of individual strengths and developmental needs can produce positive outcomes for students, schools and communities; and
• practice new behaviors for positive results.

“Mrs. O’Nan is an excellent choice to represent our school district at the leadership institute. It is an opportunity to grow and strengthen her leadership skills,” said Marganna Stanley, Asst. Superintendent of Administration for Henderson County Schools.

O’Nan will attend the July 9 – 11 session in Greensboro, N.C. and will work with the Center for Creative Leadership staff to help further her role as a principal.
