logoRUDDHOPKINS COUNTY, KY (12/20/11)—As of yesterday, December 19th, 2011, it was officially announced via website that Rudd Real Estate & Associates, Inc. of Hopkins County has closed its doors for good.

A long-standing regional business with over 33 years of dealings with local property owners and dignitaries, Rudd Real Estate is a notable piece of our county’s commerce and will undoubtedly be missed by many.

Of the closure/retirement, owner and recognizable community member Bill Rudd explains that, “After over thirty years, I decided to close the business so I could take it easy for a while. I’ll see what opportunities come my way, but for now I’m working on getting the business closed down.”

As Rudd noted, he’s presently in the process of contacting current and former clients to inform them of the closing and his retirement.

While employees of the business have obviously lost their position with the company, many have stated that they already have other positions secured with other area employers.
