Madisonville Family Injured in Ilsley Road Accident

 

accident blur 300HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (1/26/12) – On Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at approximately 10:17 AM, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a possible accident with injuries on Ilsley Road.
 
Once on the scene, Sheriff Dept. Officials found that 70-Year-old Bobby Gipson and 65-year-old Rosie Gipson had been traveling west on KY 112 in a 1989 Toyota Pickup truck. Mr. Gipson had run off the outside right shoulder of the roadway. He then drove across the drive at 1575 Ilsley Road. The vehicle went airborne and cross a large ditch.
 
The Gipson’s were transported to Regional Medical Center by the Medical Center Ambulance Service.
 
Members of Earlington Fire and Rescue and Richland Fire Department responded to the scene assisting the ambulance service. Madisonville Towing removed the truck from the ditch.
 
At 12:00, the Gipson’s were being evaluated at Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.
