Father and Son Arrested for Criminal Mischief and Felony Theft

 

BAUER arrestLIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (2/1/12) - Father and son, David Bauer (48) and Joe Bauer (24) were arrested early Monday evening at a home near the Lola Community of Livingston County, KY.
 
Both subjects were being sought by police since January 2, 2012. On that date the Bauer’s are suspected of stealing a large spool of copper wire valued at $2500 from Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel near the Salem, KY. The Bauer’s are also suspected of stealing approximately 1,100 feet of Cooper wire from Cook Farms near Salem, KY as well as causing a great deal of damage to Cook Farm property while attempting to remove the wire from a large irrigation system.
 
The Bauer’s were located due to an anonymous tip to the Livingston County Sheriff. The Bauer’s were taken into custody without incident by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and the Kentucky State Police and lodged at the McCracken County Jail.
