WESTERN KY (2/14/12) – On Monday, Feb. 13, the Kentucky State Police responded to a report of an accident on HWY 62 at the Livingston/Marshall County Line.
Once on the scene of the accident, Troopers found that 25-year-old Michael Shaw of Hopkinsville, KY was traveling west on U.S. 62 approaching the Tennessee River bridge. Mr. Shaw advised investigators that he had heard a loud popping noise come from underneath his truck. At that time the truck began to lean to the right which caused Mr. Shaw to lose control of his truck. The truck then overturned onto its right side coming to rest on the right shoulder of U.S. 62.
No one was injured from as a result of the accident and KSP Troopers were assisted at the scene by Livingston County Sheriff Bobby Davidson, Grand Lakes Fire Department, and Livingston County Emergency Management.
