Cadiz Resident Scammed for over $1500.00

 

scam alert green 300CADIZ, KY (2/15/12) – According to a recent report released by Officer Scott Brown of the Cadiz Police Department, an unnamed Cadiz resident has been the victim of a scam, costing her over $1500.00.
 
The Cadiz Police have consistently warned area residents to beware of potential scams, as this seems to be an ongoing and consistently rising problem in and around the Cadiz area.
 
Local residents are urged to visit www.wkdzradio.com regularly to see a list of ongoing scams in the area. Multiple visits are encouraged as, according to Officer Brown, the police department is adding new scams from the area on a weekly basis.
