Officals Seeking Robbery Suspect in Western Kentucky

 

stacy JoshCADIZ, KY (2/20/12) – Cadiz Police have made one arrest and are actively seeking a second suspect in a robbery of a juvenile. Deonte (T.C.) Byers, 18, of 916 Buffalo Road was arrested in the case and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
 
Police are currently seeking Joshua Paul Stacy, 21, of Martindale Street, Cadiz. Stacy has warrants for robbery and assault. He is a white male, stands 6-0 tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
 
On Friday, Feb. 17, Cadiz Police were called to investigate a robbery and assault of a juvenile. The 13-year-old male juvenile stated that Byers and Stacy assaulted him around 8:40 p.m. and took money from him in the parking lot of the East Cadiz Baptist Church, 407 Third Street. Two other juveniles witnessed the incident and have been questioned by police. The victim suffered a broken nose and minor abrasions in the attack. He was treated for his injuries at Trigg County Hospital.
 
Byers was located at his residence, questioned, and arrested. Stacy was not located by police and is thought to be hiding in the area.
 
Sgt. Richard Martin is the investigating officer.
