Cocaine and Marijuana Found in Eastgate Apartments

 

marijuana arrest 300CADIZ, KY (4/24/12) – On April 22, 2012, at approximately 10:39 PM, Officer Aaron Acree with the Cadiz Police Department, assisted by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department, arrested 19-year-old Michaela Creed of Cadiz on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Controlled Substance (1st Degree).
 
According to Cadiz Police officials, Officer Acree was at Creed’s apartment with Trigg County Sheriff's Deputy to assist in serving an arrest warrant on Karlie Stewart. While inside the apartment, Officer Acree could smell an odor of suspected marijuana. The officer received consent to search the apartment and located several plastic bags in the trash that contained a powder that field tested positive for cocaine.
 
Officer Acree also found a small amount of marijuana on a coffee table. Creed denied ownership of the narcotics that were found inside her apartment.
