Arlington Man Life-Flighted from Accident in Carlisle County

accident injuries amb 300CARLISLE, KY (5/7/12) –On Sunday, May 6, at approximately 7:11 PM, KSP Trooper Mark Franklin responded to a report of an accident with possible injuries on County Road 1118 in Carlisle County.
 
Once on the scene, Trooper Franklin deduced that 49-year-old Ray Bobbett of Arlington, KY was traveling southbound on County Road 1118 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle exited the right shoulder of the highway. Bobbett overcorrected in an attempt to regain control and overturned. Bobbett’s vehicle came to a final stop on the side of the road.
 
Bobbett was airlifted from the scene by Air-Evac to Saint Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
 
Trooper Franklin was assisted on the scene of the accident by Carlisle County Ambulance, Carlisle County Fire and Rescue, and the Milburn Fire Department.
 
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
