Cadiz Man Arrested After Threatening Police Officer

arrest wrightCADIZ, KY (5/28/12) – On Thursday, May 24, 2012, at approximately 5:30, Cadiz Police Officials were dispatched to a residence on Wharton Road in Cadiz in response to a reported disturbance.
 
Once on the scene, Officers confronted 46-year-old Roy Lee Wright. Wright became irate and informed officers, “if they didn’t leave, they would leave in body bags.”
 
When Officers attempted to arrest Wright, he actively resisted. Cadiz Police Sgt. Richard Martin deployed his taser. Wright was cooperative from this point forward.
