Marshall County Judge Executive Attends Eggners Ferry Bridge Opening

Miller Coursey Winters 500MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (5/28/12) – Mike Miller, County Judge Executive for Marshall County, attended the Eggners Ferry Bridge opening late last week.

“This is a wonderful, remarkable day,” said Miller. “When the Governor said that we are going to have the bridge open on Memorial Day, I looked at my buddy Stan Humbrey, judge of Trigg County and said “Right”. This is just a remarkable feat by Hall Construction Company. We are so pleased. This will open up our lanes of traffic for our summer tourist season. So we are just delighted. The fact that they were able to do this in such a short period of time is nothing short of remarkable.”

Miller continued “This is a great day for Western Kentucky particularly the Aurora - Murray area, the Cadiz - Hopkinsville Area, The Land Between the Lakes. It just means so much to everybody; and, we are just delighted that it is happening today.”
