TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Closure on KY 293 near Caldwell-Lyon County Line

trafficalert blue_300CALDWELL COUNTY, KY (6/6/12) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to CLOSE KY 293 in western Caldwell County on Thursday, June 7.

This closure is to allow the replacement of a failed cross drain near KY 293 mile point 1.5, near the Caldwell-Lyon County Line.  This closure point is on KY 293 between Caldwell Chapel Road and Martin Road.

The roadway at this site is expected to close about 8 a.m., and remain closed until about 3:30 p.m.  Local access will be maintained on either side of the closure point.

There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may choose to detour via KY 818 and KY 1495.
