UNION COUNTY, KY (7/9/12) – A planned closure on KY 923 in Union County originally planned for Monday has been POSTPONED until Tuesday, July 10.
The KYTC Union County Highway Maintenance Crew is spending time Monday clearing a number of trees that were downed by Sunday afternoon thunderstorms along KY 669 in the Waverly area. That work has prompted the closure on KY 923 to be delayed.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet now plans to close KY 923 in Union County on Tuesday, July 10, for the replacement of a cross drain.
KY 923 will be closed from Sullivan Road at mile point 3.210 to US 60 at mile point 4.553. KY 923 is expected to close at approximately 7 a.m., Tuesday, and reopen at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday. There will be no marked detour.
