LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (7/10/12) – Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of an ATV in Livingston County.
On June 19, John Calhoun of Ledbetter reported that someone had stolen his 2010 Polaris 4x4 ATV worth approximately $11,000. Deputy Kenneth Vincent investigated the incident with the assistance of the victim.
On July 6, the ATV was found on the some sand piles near the IMI property in Ledbetter in the possession of Lance Fuller. Fuller stated that he had gotten the ATV for a test drive from Angie and Michael Shaffer of Sheila Drive in Ledbetter, KY. He advised Deputy Vincent that he was considering buying the ATV.
Subsequent investigation and questioning of Michael and Angie Fugate revealed that they had allegedly stolen the ATV from Mr. Calhoun. Fuller later admitted that he knew the ATV was stolen and had agreed to keep it for the Shaffers.
Angie Shaffer, Michael Shaffer and Lance Fuller were charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $500 and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
