breakingnews update 300LYON COUNTY, KY (7/10/12) – The I-69/WK Pkwy Exit 4 Ramp to US 62 in Lyon County has reopened to traffic.

The concrete beam was cut into two pieces and moved off to the side to allow traffic to resume.

About 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, the ramp will be closed again for several hours to allow a crane to remove the beam. In the meantime, the ramp is OPEN.

The 125 ft. pre-stressed concrete beam, estimated to weigh about 55 to 60 tons, was enroute to the new US 60 Tennessee River Bridge at Ledbetter for construction of a bridge approach span.

Engineers do not know how long it may take to produce a replacement beam.
