CADIZ, KY (7/11/12) – A Cadiz man was arrested following a domestic assault call Tuesday afternoon. According to the Cadiz Police report, officers responded to 70 Wharton Road to investigate a domestic assault report.
The subject's wife reported that during an argument, 23-year-old William T. Brown hit her in the mouth while she was holding their infant child. After refusing to come out of the residence to speak with police, officers were let into the home where he was arrested.
After Brown was handcuffed and taken outside, he allegedly attempted to turn away from the officer and actively resist arrest. Once placed inside the police SUV, Brown reportedly attempted to force open the rear door by kicking the window, causing damage to the window seal of the door. He has been charged with 4th degree assault, 3rd degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
