Woman Charged with Theft by Deception Involving Churches

gavel1 300CADIZ, KY (10/9/12) – Cadiz Police have charged Milissa D. Radford, 39, of 570 Cerulean-Hopkinsville Road, Cerulean, KY with five counts of theft by deception under $500. Major Duncan Wiggins conducted an investigation in cooperation with Food Giant of Cadiz.

Between January 12 and August 28 of 2012 it is alleged that Radford went into the store and charged groceries on the account of the Cadiz United Methodist Church (three times) and the Cadiz Church of Christ (twice). The total of the five transactions was $340.17. Radford had no legal right to make the transactions and did not use her real name during the transactions. Radford was identified through store surveillance video as the suspect.
