Crittenden County Escapee Captured

escapee captured CrittCRITTENDEN COUNTY, KY (2/11/13) – Over the weekend, Kentucky State Police officials were notified of an escapee from the Crittenden County Jail.
 
Jail staff told police officials that Jason Scott Arkenberg, a Louisville native, had walked away from the jail. Arkenberg was serving a sentence for charges of Arson, Receiving Stolen Property and Fleeing/Evading Police.
 
Arkenberg was apprehended by Marion Police Department and the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department at the Turner and Conyers Sawmill on US60 west of Marion. Detective Lloyd Ray with the Kentucky State Police has charged the subject with Escape-2nd Degree, two counts of Burglary-3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief-3rd Degree, and Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500. Arkenberg was returned to the Crittenden County Jail.
