According to Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Kristopher D. Newman and Robin D. Vick, residents of Highway 175, were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Detective Wade Griggs received information that led him to the couple’s home to conduct an investigation. After arriving, officers secured a search warrant and, upon execution of the warrant, found numerous components inside or near the home that are used for making meth, including lithium batteries, Sudafed, Coleman fuel, starting fluid, ammonia nitrate pellets, and lye. Officers also located a meth lab outside the home.

Griggs was assisted by Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Detective Troy Gibson, assigned to PNTF, KSP Trooper Jacob Fortney and Deputies Brock Mefford and Terry Vick.

The suspects were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
