ky trans cab 300CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (5/20/13) – The welcome center for westbound travelers on Interstate 24 in Christian County will reopen Monday, May 20 until Tuesday, May 28. Motorists will be able to use the facility during the busy Memorial Day weekend.
 
Crews will close the facility May 28 for two additional weeks to continue ongoing pavement rehabilitation work along I-24 at mile points 85-93.
 
The rest area is at mile point 93 near the Kentucky/Tennessee line.
