cadiz police arrest2 300CADIZ, Ky. (6/17/13) – The following is your update on Law Enforcement activity courtesy of the Cadiz Police Department.

On June 16, at approximately 12:27 PM, Cadiz Police responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of Food Giant at 1897 Main Street. After conducting an investigation, Officer Randy Clark arrested Jacqueline V. Henderson, 34, of 48 Brown Street in Cadiz, and charged her with Assault - 2nd Degree. Henderson got into an argument with her sister-in-law Tara Henderson, of Cadiz. Jacqueline Henderson took a baseball bat and hit Tara Henderson across the back of her neck, causing minor injury. The fight was the result of a long family dispute. The Trigg County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.

On June 15, at 2:08 PM, Officer Randy Clark arrested Cody L. Sarnacki, 20, of 14805 Old Dover Road in Cadiz and served a Trigg County District Court arrest warrant charging him with Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. The offense occurred on June 12, 2013 at a Farmers Lane address in Trigg County.

On June 15, at 3:39 PM, Cadiz Police responded to a fight at 33 Cunningham Avenue. After conducting an investigation, Officer Randy Clark arrested William West, 45, of 33 Cunningham Avenue and charged him with Assault - 2nd Degree and Wanton Endangerment - 1st Degree. West got into an argument with his neighbor, Gary Vetzel. During this argument, West took a large chain and struck Vetzel in the head multiple times. Vetzel was taken to Trigg County Hospital and treated for his injuries. West then left the scene at a high rate of speed, almost striking a pedestrian with his vehicle. He was located a short time later and arrested. The fight was the culmination of a long property dispute between West and Vetzel, who live next to each other.
