CADIZ, Ky. (7/2/13) – The following is your update on Law Enforcement activity courtesy of the Cadiz Police Department.
Malinda Strunk, 43, of Hopkinsville, was arrested on July 2 at 12:23 AM on charges of DUI – 1st Offense and Improper Display of Registration Plate. Officer Aaron Acree stopped Strunk’s vehicle on Lafayette Street after he could not locate a visible tag on the vehicle. Officer Acree could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. Strunk failed three tests. Following her arrest, Strunk refused to consent to a blood test to determine her Breath Alcohol Content.
James O. Jones, 29, of West End Street was arrested on July 1 at 8:12 PM by Officer Roger Knight and served a Trigg County arrest warrant charging him with Contempt of Court. Jones failed to appear in court on June 18 on a Child Support charge and owed arrerages of over $28,000 in child support.
Anthony Ross, 29, of Brewer, Maine was arrested on July 1 at 4:42 PM by Officer Roger Knight and charged with Alcohol Intoxication. Ross was observed staggering while walking on the shoulder of Main Street. Police had also received reports of Ross walking through parking lots of businesses while shouting.
Deztinee Pridemore, 18, of Cunningham Avenue was arrested on July 1 at 11:25 PM by Officer Roger Knight. Pridemore was served an arrest warrant out of Trigg County charging her with Failure to Pay Fines stemming from a previous traffic offense.
Michael Jeff Winn, 50, of Fredonia was arrested on June 29 by offer Roger Night and charged with DUI – 1st Offense. Winn was stopped for driving erratically on Main Street. Winn failed five sobriety tests and registered a .146 BRAC following his arrest.
