Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (7/10/13) – Ron Crouch, Director of Research and Statistics, with the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, will be the guest speaker at this month's Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce meeting this Thursday at the Greenville United Methodist Church.

Ron previously served as Director of the Kentucky State Data Center located at the University of Louisville for nearly 21 years. He has developed a national database, analyzing trends by both Census regions and states. Each state, as well as the entire United States, is undergoing major demographic and economic revolutions.

Our population is aging. Our economy is moving from a manufacturing to a knowledge economy. We are growing more diverse. There are major differences across regions. Analyzing data and developing information in ways that enhance understanding and utilization is Mr. Crouch’s goal.

Join the chamber as Crouch presents statistics in a way that most people have not heard. His presentations are not only informative but humorous and enjoyable.

Other upcoming chamber events for the summer include:

A special Friends and Family Night at the Central City Spray Park on July 22nd.

The Pogue Picnic – Time and date to be announced.

Onn August 24th the 25th Annual Kentucky Deer Classic returns to Uncle Lee's.
