Vehicle Versus Utility Pole in Graves County

accident glass 300GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (7/15/13) – On Sunday, July 14, at approximately 5:45 PM, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Troopers responded to a report of an accident in Graves County on KY 1213 South.
 
Once on the scene, troopers found that 64-year-old Johnny Perkins of Mayfield was traveling west on KY 1213 and was turning into a driveway on the south side of the road when he struck a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Fancy Farm resident, Stephen Mcnutt's vehicle in the front driver's side as he was traveling east on KY 1213. McNutt's vehicle began to spin causing it to run off the road, hit a utility pole and land on the driver's side.
 
Passengers Lola and Jessica McNutt were both transported by Mayfield-Graves County EMS for minor injuries.
 
TFC Trevor Pervine was assisted at the scene by Mayfield-Graves County EMS, Fancy Farm Fire Department, and West Kentucky Rural Electric.
 
The investigation continues by Trooper First Class Trevor Pervine.
