Henderson County Assistive Technology Team Earns $12,000 Grant

crusade children 300HENDERSON, Ky. (8/2/13) – The WHAS Crusade for Children Advisory Council awarded the Henderson County Special Education Assistive Technology Team with a grant of $12,000. The team plans to use the $12,000 grant to purchase 16GB iPads and multiple iTunes gift cards to help with therapy and teaching practices. The Special Education therapy and teaching staff are excited about this new opportunity to use technology to assist students. The grant was submitted during the fall of 2012.
