4sunsetCADIZ, Ky. - Terry Lee McNichols, age 66, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Terry Lee McNichols was a member of Linton United Methodist Church where he had served as Lay Speaker, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, Church Historian & UMYF Leader. He retired from Trigg County School System where he was the Adult Education Director for many years, he had also worked at Trigg County Farmers Bank for 20 years. He was a member of the Trigg Co. Ham Festival Committee, Cadiz Lions Club and served as a coach for many years at Trigg Co. Recreation Complex.

He is survived by his Wife Shelia McNichols, Cadiz, KY, Daughter & Son In Law Tatum & Todd Gilbert, Cerulean, KY, Son Jimmy McNichols, Little Rock, AR, Grandchildren Tenley Gilbert, Madison McNichols, Lee & Brandy Gilbert, Jason & Melissa Stagner. Brother & Sister In Law S. W. & Anita McNichols, Cadiz, KY, Sisters & Brother In Laws Faye & John Hainsworth, Sherry & William "Moose" Morris, Cadiz, KY.

He was preceded in death by his Father Bill O. McNichols, Mother Thelma Kingings McNichols Cate, Brother Teddy McNichols and Grandchild Amanda Faye Gilbert.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Lexie Bush Convention Center, Trigg Co. Recreation Complex.

Funeral Service will be at Lexie Bush Convention Center, Trigg Co. Recreation Complex at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 4, 2013 with the Reverend Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY. Memorial Contributions can be made to Linton United Methodist Church 202 West Ave., Cadiz, KY 42211.
