Eugene Dukes, Jr., 45, of Earlington, KY

1cloudsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Eugene Dukes, Jr., 45, of Earlington, KY passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on April 5, 1968 in Chicago, IL to the late Mary Royal Dukes Harvey and Eugene Dukes, Sr. He was a truck driver for Whitco Trucking in White Plains, KY. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Elizabeth Dukes; his daughters, Annie (Shawn) Branson of Manitou, KY, Miranda Dukes of Madisonville, KY and Courtney Dukes of Earlington; his brothers, Wayne Dukes and John (Tammy) Dukes both of Dawson Springs, KY; his sister, Chasity (David) Oakley of Nortonville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Matthew Williams officiating. Private burial to be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11a.m. until the service hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
