juvenile arrested 300CADIZ, Ky. (8/27/13) – On Sunday, August 25, Trigg County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Sheriff Ray Burnam received a TIP through Cadiz Trigg County Crime Stoppers that a teenage suspect that Cadiz Police Department was looking for was at a Cabin in the Canton Area.
 
Sheriff Burnam contacted Cadiz Police Sergeant Scott Brown and relayed the information and requested that he meet to go pick up the teen. TCSO, Cadiz Police Department and Kentucky State Police arrived at the Cabin; Sheriff Burnam made entry into the cabin and located the teen suspect in a bedroom. The suspect was handed over to Cadiz Police Sergeant Scott Brown.
 
According to CPD the teen was charged with Attempted Assault - 1st Degree and Possession of a Handgun by a Minor for pulling a handgun and attempting to fire it at a Family member on August 23, 2013.
 
The teen was lodged at the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
