CADIZ, Ky. (9/24/13) – The following is your update on Law Enforcement activity courtesy of the Cadiz Police Department.
Officer Aarron Acree arrested Ray A. Hughes, 52, of 72 Cunningham Avenue on September 21. Hughes was known to have a suspended driver's license and was observed driving on Cunningham Avenue. A further investigation determined Hughes was wanted in Christian County for failing to appear in court on a suspended license charge.
Officer Roger Knight arrested Corey L. Dean, 31, of Cadiz, on Sept. 17. He was served a Christian County District Court arrest warrant for failing to pay $314 in court fines stemming from marijuana possession charges.
Officer Randy Clark arrested Columbus McGee, Jr., 48, of Cadiz, on Sept. 18 and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication after police received a report of an intoxicated man in the 200 block of Main Street.
Sgt. Scott Brown arrested Walter N. Griffin, 47, of Madisonville on Sept. 22 in the 200 block of Main Street and served him a Hopkins County District Court arrest warrant charging him with failing to pay $387 in court fines stemming from drug charges in Hopkins County.
Cadiz Police served five Trigg County Circuit Court Indictment warrants on Sept. 17. For the month, Cadiz Police has served 21 arrest warrants and two criminal summonses.
