GRAHAM, Ky. (12/30/13) — A Greenville man was injured during an accident Dec. 29 on the Hopkins-Muhlenberg county line.
According to a Kentucky State Police report, Terry Bowles, 62, of Greenville was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup at 8:33 a.m. headed east on Kentucky 70, when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. Bowles' vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the road, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.
Bowles was transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment.
Trooper Craig Engler investigated the accident.
The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, the Graham Volunteer Fire Department and the Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
