Spring Break Week at Woodlands Nature Station

spring-breakGOLDEN POND, Ky. (3/13/14) — Are you looking for something to do with the kids over spring break?

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area offers a variety of exciting events for all ages during Spring Break March 31 - April 4, at Woodlands Nature Station.

“Come out and enjoy Nature Station’s wildlife programs and outdoor activities,” said Carrie Szwed, Public Programs Coordinator for Nature Station. “These programs offer family outdoor adventure while providing valuable learning experiences.”

In addition to regularly scheduled daily programs, additional programs at 1 p.m. will be offered Monday March 31 – Friday April 4, during Spring Break week:

  • Mon.     X-Men of the Wild

  • Tue.      April Fools’ Animals

  • Wed.     The Voice: Canine Edition

  • Thu.      Nature’s Ninjas

  • Fri.        “Life Under Logs” Hike

Purchase an LBL Fun Card this spring for discounted general admissions to our day use facilities.

Fun Cards with 10 visits cost $35 and can be used at Nature Station, The Homeplace, and Golden Pond Planetarium in any combination of visits.
