MURRAY, Ky. (3/14/14) – Dr. Rachel Korson was one of six presenters selected to speak at the Kentucky Sleep Society’s Winter Scientific Sleep Medicine Conference Saturday, March 8, 2014.
Korson presented “Atrial Fibrillation: Recognition and Impact on Obstructive Sleep Apnea” at the conference, which was held at Baptist Health Paducah.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea sometimes causes Atrial Fibrillation, and Korson presented information about the connection to other medical professionals in attendance.
One of the newest physicians at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, Korson is the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center where she specializes in treating conditions such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, Restless Legs Syndrome, and REM Behavior Disorder.
She is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and Neurology.
