The Cadiz Police Department continues to work with the Trigg County Attorney's Office in an effort to locate and serve warrants for outstanding child support.

Sgt. Scott Brown arrested Frank R. Hendrix, Jr., 31, of Cadiz, Saturday on the strength of two warrants for contempt of court for failing to appear in court for a child support hearing.

CPD also located Tyvis Hendrix, 29,  of Cadiz, who was incarcerated in Marshall County and wanted on a contempt of court warrant here. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office was notified of his whereabouts, and he was served the warrant while in jail there.

All total, the two men were over $7,000 in arrears of child support payments.

Officer Roger Knight arrested Joshua J. Barwan, 22, of Cadiz, Sunday 7:01 p.m. following a traffic stop on Lafayette Street.
