Man Arrested for Obscene Communication with Underage Central City Female

perv arrestCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (5/7/14) ― Kentucky State Police arrested a Michigan man for sending sexually explicit text messages and images to an underage female in Muhlenberg County.

According to a KSP report, an investigation was initiated May 2 after KSP Det. Dan Morck received information that Jonathan E. Saigeon, 35, of Grand Rapids was headed to Central City to meet the underage female. He was intercepted by a trooper May 6 in Mason County, Ky.

At approximately 9:21 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, Morck charged Saigeon with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities, a Class D felony; and, distribution of obscene matter to minors, first offense, a Class A Misdemeanor.

He was lodged in the Mason County Detention Center.

Morck is continuing the investigation. KSP Post 8 Trooper Scott Ferrell assisted with the investigation and arrest.
