Section of Kentucky 1456/Newbolt Road in Daviess County To Close

road closed blue 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/7/14) — This closure on Kentucky 1456/Newbolt Road in Daviess County is for Thursday and Friday, July 10 and 11, 2014.

The Daviess County Highway Maintenance. Crew will close Kentucky 1456/Newbolt Road to remove a culvert at mile point 1.583 and install a new one at a location approximately 100 degrees to the south to improve drainage at this site.

The removal and backfill of the old culvert along with the installation of a new culvert at the new location will take 2 days. The closure will begin on Thursday morning with the roadway expected to reopen by the close of business Friday afternoon.

The culvert removal and replacement is along Kentucky 1456/Newbolt Road between Timber Trace and Millers Mill Road.

Our original advisory below had this closure listed for Wednesday instead of Thursday and Friday.
