ice-skatesOWENSBORO, Ky. (7/9/14) — The Edge Ice Center will be offering summertime special themes throughout the month of July.

Each week a special theme-based session will be offered and crafts and activities for children will be led by the Edge Day Camp staff.

Participants who wear clothing that ties into the theme will receive a discount and skate for only $3 per person. There is no charge for parents/guardians and/or spectators

Themes and dates are as follows. Session times are noon to 4 p.m.:

  • Wednesday, July 9 - Tropical Paradise. Tropical shirts or luau attire.

  • Wednesday, July 16 - Wild, Wild, West. Western wear and/or checked shirts.

  • Wednesday, July 23 - Holiday in July. Holiday sweaters, Santa hats, or reindeer antlers.

  • Wednesday, July 30 - Wild and Wacky. Silly hats and or socks. Bring white shirt to participate in tie-dying activity.
