road closed orange 300CALDWELL, Ky. (7/18/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close Kentucky 139 in Caldwell County Monday, July 21, 2014.

Kentucky 139/Farmersville Road will be closed near the 23 mile marker for major repair work.

This closure is near Towery Cemetery Road, about halfway between Bright Life Farm and the Caldwell-Crittenden County Line.

The roadway is expected to close about 8 a.m., CDT. It is expected to reopen by about 2 p.m., Monday.

There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via Kentucky 70, Kentucky 293, and Kentucky 1592.

This project is scheduled on a weather permitting basis.
