Letter to the Editor - Appreciation Shown for Retiring Fire Chief

thanksHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/22/14) — After reading about the upcoming retirement of Fire Chief Steve Stolz I would like to take this time to thank Chief Stolz, Kevin Cotton and all the fire fighters who responded to the recent house fire of my parents on South Seminary Street.

All the fire fighters worked diligently and I understand a couple were treated for heat stress.

Both Chief Stolz and Mr. Cotton attended to my parents personally with great concern and professionalism.

Hat tip to everyone involved.
