HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (8/15/14) — The following indictments were among those handed down by a recent Hopkins County Grand Jury.
Charles Brown, 46, of Earlington, was indicted for receiving stolen property by receiving cash or property valued at less than $10,000 (a trailer).
William Terry Brown, 57, of White Plains, was indicted for second-degree arson for starting a fire with the intent to destroy or damage a building owned by Burley Stanley; first-degree wanton endangerment for setting a fire to a residence while occupied by Freda Stanley; public intoxication; and, first-degree persistent felony offender.
Williams Brunson, 19, of Madisonville, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth.
Matthew Foe, 27, of Dawson Springs, was indicted for receiving stolen property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000 (jewelry).
Kevin Grimes, 31, of Nortonville, was indicted for first-degree fleeing police, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license.
Sherman Hopson, 32, of Madisonville, was indicted for second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, second-degree fleeing police, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/cocaine, tampering with physical evidence and second-degree persistent felony offender.
Caleb Jones, 24, of Madisonville, was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/cocaine.
Cody Kelly, 23, of Madisonville, was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth.
Walter Larose, 55, of St. Charles, was indicted for two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
