UPDATE: Injuries Sustained in Two-Vehicle Collision in Central City

photo 3CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (8/21/14) ― A two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred at about 3:15 p.m. today, Aug. 21 in front of the Marathon station on West Everly Brothers Boulevard in Central City.

Jerry Vaught was pulling out of Taco Bell in a Ford Ranger and was struck in the side by a Chevy S10 driven by Wendel Colburn.

Colburn and his passenger, Shelia Colburn, were transferred to Muhlenberg Community Hospital with minor injuries.

Vaught was also transferred to MCH for injuries sustained from deployment of the vehicle's air bag.

Central City Police Officer Jamie Jenkins was in charge of the scene.
