Police Request Public’s Help with Log Trailer Theft

police investigation2 300LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (1/18/12) – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the public’s assistance.
 
During the evening hours of January 13, someone entered a log-yard on US 62 in Lake City, KY and took a 42-foot Savannah Log Trailer. The trailer was setting at an unoccupied log yard across the street from the Lake City Grill. The trailer was last seen at the yard at approximately six p.m. on January 12. The trailer has aluminum wheels and air ride suspension.
 
The trailer is owned by Boren Trucking of Benton, KY. If anyone has any information regarding this theft please contact the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
 
It is a possibility that the trailer could be sold for scrap. Salvage yard owners and employees are also encouraged to contact the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department should they have information or have contact with this trailer.
