Benton Middle School Hands on Learning

handson1BENTON, Ky. (3/29/13) – In order to review core content taught throughout the school year, Benton Middle School held “Hands-On-Learning”.

The regular schedule of classes was changed so students could review lessons in core subject areas like math, reading, science, social studies, practical living, and arts and humanities. The lessons were designed to not only review core content, but also engage the students through a “hands-on” approach to learning.

The faculty and staff worked very hard to create fun lessons for the students in every class all week. Some of the lessons this week included hands-on food experiments. It was very effective for the students to review content from one class to another.

This showed that each teacher is committed to student achievement in all areas of the school.
