Crave Lexington Presents Tunes and Tasty Treats at Outdoor Festival

crave 300LEXINGTON, Ky (8/13/13)—This year Lexington is having its first outdoor, made-from-scratch food and musical festival September 21-22. At this event the finest chefs and a collaborative of musicians will be coming together to celebrate our two favorite things: food and music.

Before the main event there are a few pop-up events for everyone to enjoy.

Crave Lexington Sunday Fare, a pass the plate brunch at Moon Dance at the Midnight Pass Amphitheatre located in Beaumont Center, will be held on August 17. The event will feature West Sixth Brewery, Chamber Musical Festival and mobile food trucks with a musically inspired menu by Fork In The Road Mobile Gallery.

On August 25 another Sunday Fare will be held and the area’s top chefs and food trucks will work together to produce a sit down, pass the plate brunch at Moon Dance.

The main event in September is free and open for all ages to enjoy. As different musicians from genres including Americana, Bluegrass, Bollywood, Gospel, Blues and rock take the stage, local food producers and chefs will serve seasonal foods to showcase Kentucky’s fall harvest.

Workshops for children are available and demonstrations to sharpen the inner chef in everyone will take place.
