It’s Fantasy Football Season and Local Restaurants Have Got Your League Covered

(8/22/13)—Every year football lovers come together and take part in an interactive competition against one another to build teams using actual players in the National Football League. Participants draft, trade, add and drop players with others to build a perfect fantasy football team.

Bars and restaurants in Lexington have opened their doors for leagues to get together and discuss how their teams are doing, compare points and watch their players on the big screen all while drinking beer. Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings and Shamrock Bar and Grille are just a few sports bars that have happy hours, discounted draft beers, half priced appetizers and other special offers for fantasy football team managers.

At Buffalo Wild Wings they give those who participate in the competition at their restaurants a full fantasy football draft kit. This includes ten $10 food vouchers, fantasy football coozies, a banner, flag and a board to keep up with the score.

If you book your fantasy football team get-togethers with Shamrock Bar and Grille in Lexington they offer $7.25 pitchers of Bud Light and Miller Light drafts, $11 buckets of domestic beers and $2 off appetizers.

Hooters also provides a draft kit that they sponsor with ESPN. Inside the kit you will find an ESPN Insider magazine, cheat sheet that has top 125 players in the NFL, a draft board for up to 16 people, stickers to help with scores, coozies, boneless wing specials and more.
