Fight The Flu This Season: Shots Are Available Starting Today

lex flu crewLEXINGTON, Ky (9/3/2013)—The months are flying by and the weather is about to change, which means that flu season is around the corner. Flu shots will be available starting today at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department's Public Health Clinic North located at 805A Newtown Circle.

Flu shots will be offered between 1-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and no appointment is necessary. The cost is $25.

Not quite sure if you should get the shot or not? The Lex Flu Crew is available to answer any of your questions at (859) 288-7529. The Lex Flu Crew said to remember that the best way to fight the flu in the upcoming season is to get vaccinated, wash your hands, cover your cough or sneeze and stay at home if you are sick.
